About Spisske Podhradie
Spisske Podhradie is a small town in the Spis region in North East Slovakia. Its historical part, Spisska Kapitula, is the seat of local Bishops. One of world's largest medieval castles, Spissky hrad (Spis Castle) is on the hill above the town.
The population of Spisske Podhradie is 3800. Levoca, Spisska Nova Ves, Krompachy, and Gelnica are nearest towns.
